There are several types of Visas available, so it is important that you choose the one that is applicable to you.

If you are coming to PNG, complete the APPLICATION FOR ENTRY FORM and the SUPPLEMENTARY HEALTH FORM. You will need to forward forms through to us. Please use the contact us form to receive forwarding information.
Visitors from HIGH RISK COUNTRIES should allow 6 – 8 weeks processing time for an Employment Visa for a Business or Tourist Visas allow 3 weeks processing time. Please check if your country of nationality is on the list of HIGH RISK COUNTRIES .
When applying for any visa to visit PNG your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

EMPLOYMENT VISAS
For Employment Visa’ please refer to the EMPLOYMENT VISA CHECKLIST this checklist is divided into 2 parts.
Those documents listed under Part 1 should be obtained and forwarded to our office, your allocated consultant will liaise with you in regards to this.
Those documents listed under Part 2 should be obtained and held by you until our office advises you to submit these documents at the end of the approval process to the PNG Overseas Mission with your passport for visa stamping.
DEPENDENTS
If you are being accompanied by dependents then you will need to refer to the DEPENDENT VISA CHECKLIST this checklist is divided into 2 parts.
Those documents listed under Part 1 should be obtained and forwarded to our office, your allocated consultant will liaise with you in regards to this.
Those documents listed under Part 2 should be obtained and held by you until our office advises you to submit these documents at the end of the approval process to the PNG Overseas Mission with your passport for visa stamping.
In addition to the above you will also be required to complete the Medical and Radiological examinations, please refer to the attached links on this page for the appropriate forms to facilitate this.
BUSINESS VISITORS TO PNG
For a Business Visa, in addition to the above you will need to provide the following documents in support of your application:
- A sponsor letter – this is a letter from a PNG entity inviting you to PNG to undertake business matters
- A copy of your passport bio page – the page that shows your photo, name, and date of birth
- A copy of your itinerary too, from, and within PNG
- A brief Curriculum Vitae about yourself

VISA ON ARRIVAL
The PNG Government offers a VISA ON ARRIVAL service for visitors arriving in PNG from eligible countries, requiring a single-entry Tourist or Business Visa.
Eligible countries are listed on the VISA ON ARRIVAL ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES link here.
In order to be eligible, travellers must hold a passport issued by one of these countries, which indicates they are a citizen of that country.
Holders of other documents issued by these countries, such as those issued to non-citizen residents, refugees, or overseas nationals are not eligible for visa on arrival.
Citizens of countries not listed need to obtain a visa from the nearest PNG mission abroad prior to their travel.
